Ennui is a debuff effect that prevents consecutive uses of a Unit Skill (BB, SBB, UBB) for a certain amount of turns. Currently, this effect is exclusive to enemy skills.
Units afflicted with Ennui will have BB, SBB, or UBB disabled upon usage for a certain amount of turns.
Bonded Brave Burst, Bonded Super Brave Burst, and Dual Brave Burst are unaffected by Ennui.
When using the AUTO setting in the Auto Battle feature, AUTO will prioritize SBB first, then BB, and then normal attack, depending on whichever skills are available while Ennui is in effect.
A debuff that works similarly to Ennui is Amnesia.
Interactions with Brave Burst Recast[]
Ennui does not prevent units with Brave Burst Recast and Martyr effects from recasting skills. The effects of Ennui occur once the unit's action is finished.
Examples[]
- True God-King uses Ennui on all enemies, which is a 5-turn Ennui debuff that prevents Unit Skills from activating for 2 turns upon usage.
- A unit with Ennui in effect uses BB. As a result of Ennui, the unit cannot use its BB for 2 turns or until Ennui wears off but can use SBB and UBB.
- A unit that uses UBB and SBB on the same turn through Extra Action becomes unable to use its SBB and UBB for 2 turns or until Ennui wears off but can use BB.
Elemental Synergy: Pyre[]
The Elemental Synergy: Pyre has a chance of purging and negating Ennui effects, as well as Doom effects. Probabilities and buff durations are listed below.
