- The slow, weary gait of the Sage mirrors the melancholy on her face.
- Zeruiah had allowed that cunning wolf of a human escape without his due punishment.
- Yet, if she pursued Baelfyr, there was no telling what other tricks he had up his sleeve,
- nor how much he knew of the girl who resembled her friend Juno-Seto so much.
- It was a precarious position to be in.
- But more than that, Zeruiah grimly admitted it was the memory of her foster daughter Eirwen that stalled her hand.
- Zeruiah: (Could those dreams be premonitions?)
- Zeruiah: (If she reached out to those she touched with her light...Then...)

Dialogue
- Tevarius bows reverently before her, his divine aura crackling in a serpentine form behind him.
- Tevarius: Thank you for enlightening me, Great Sage.
- Tevarius: So much has happened in my absence.
- Tevarius: If it weren't for Juno pointing me to you, I would still be wandering aimlessly about.
- Zeruiah: Think nothing of it. To be in the presence of a storm dragon spirit from the time of the ancients...
- Zeruiah: It is a great honor. The Vale welcomes you.
- Tevarius: I am humbled and pleased, Great Sage, to have received aid from eminent beings such as yourself and Juno-Seto.
- Tevarius: Speaking of which...I should like to visit the spire that imprisons her.
- Zeruiah: A wise course of action.
- Zeruiah: Perhaps it may elucidate us on her sudden disappearance.
- Zeruiah: She has already reincarnated once before. I would not be surprised if it happened again.
- Tevarius: Indeed...
- Tevarius: Pardon my asking, Great Sage. What will you do about the serpent-men?
- Zeruiah: ... ...
- Zeruiah: These are troubling times for Aimyhr, Tevarius.
- Zeruiah: Though the Vale has been much weakened, it is highly unlikely the Naga would have been able to find a way in.
- Zeruiah: I shall have to see a certain someone about this.
- Zeruiah: In the interim, if you wish to return to the Vale, you are free to do so.
- Tevarius: Swift success, Great Sage. Then, please allow me to take my leave...
- Tevarius: Ah. Yes, one more matter. Juno said something I couldn't understand.
- Tevarius: "She who started all, shall end all."
- Tevarius: I don't know if that could be of any help. But I thought I would mention it.

Dialogue

- Zeruiah: (An eternal cycle...)
- A figure just ahead of her makes her look up.
- Zeruiah smiles as a familiar face rises to greet her.
- Tevarius: Great Sage. I came to tell you...that the two figures within the spire still slumber.
- Tevarius: I must say it was quite the shock to see that...other one, next to Juno.
- Tevarius: Alas, both were silent. I can only hope their spirits have found peace, at least.
- Zeruiah: Understandable. That, too, was a long story.
- Tevarius: Don't we enjoy long stories.
- Tevarius: Did you find who you were looking for?
- Zeruiah: Yes. But I have troubling news.
- Zeruiah: Baelfyr, the leader of humans...has seen a girl who resembles the goddesses.
- Tevarius: What?
- Tevarius: But...how?
- Zeruiah: I do not know. But if my visions are true...
- Zeruiah: ...Then the reason for the vanishing of Juno-Seto's spirit lies within that girl.
- Tevarius: We must find her at once, then.
- Zeruiah: I should like to.
- Zeruiah: I do not trust that man—
- Shouts of anger and pain send a flock of birds flying, and the telltale smell of fire begins to fill the air.

- ?: Let none escape! Kill them all!
- Tevarius: Those are...humans!
- Tevarius: They bring weapons and fire! What is going on?
- Fae: *scream*
- Fae: Please! Stop! What ar-
- Zeruiah: Human! What is the meaning of this?
- Empire Captain: You Fae have betrayed us and wounded Sir Baelfyr!
- Empire Captain: The Vale is irreversibly tainted, and soon the darkness that consumed you will devour us in turn!
- Empire Captain: We must purge this land and destroy all evil!
- Empire Captain: CHARGE!
