Leader Skill Lock is an effect that has a chance of disabling the effects of Leader Skills on the target(s). Currently, this effect is exclusive to enemy skills.

Leader Skill Lock cannot be cleansed by any means outside purging them.

Extra Skill Lock and Sphere Lock serve as two other counterparts to Leader Skill Lock.

Arena/Colosseum[]

While not implemented as a buff, Leader Skill Lock effects can passively appear in Arena and Colosseum as one of the Random Rules. In Arena, the Random Rules option must be toggled on.

Interactions with Added Effects to Leader Skill[]

If a sphere(s) with Added Effect to Leader Skill is equipped to a unit whose Leader Skill is locked, all effects added to Leader Skill from the sphere(s) will become invalidated as well.

Elemental Synergy: Nova[]

Leader Skill Locks can be negated and purged through the use of the Elemental Synergy, Nova.

Interactions with Player EXP Effects[]

If a unit with Player EXP Effects is affected by Leader Skill Lock, the player will still receive the benefits of the EXP effects regardless.

Interactions with ABP/CBP Boost Effects[]

ABP/CBP boost effects are unaffected by Leader Skill Lock effects from Random Rules in Arena and Colosseum.
