The commander of the 31st Division of the Demon Slayers, the Sun Cuore. When he was younger, Roy dreamed of being like a certain Summoner who had left their mark on the history of Akras Summoners' Hall, and thus worked hard to enter the Hall himself by the age of sixteen, growing closer to his goal. Honest and amiable by nature, on the day of his enlistment he was unexpectedly roped into one of Noel's crazy experiments. From that point on he was entrusted with task after task, proving his mettle as a Summoner by not only helping Noel with his research, but also rookies out on their first missions. Four years later, Seria, Grand Commander of the Demon Slayers, made Roy a Demon Slayer. She had shared many a mission with, and even brought him along with Noel to Extas when the world was first discovered. It was following this that Roy was entrusted with rookie Summoners, helping them with their training and development. Kind yet powerful, many came to hold him in high regard, unknowingly becoming an inspirational figure for others while simply following an inspiration of his own. When Roy turned thirty, his achievements were recognized by Akras Summoners' Hall, and he was assigned command over his own division within the Demon Slayers. He named it after the fairy that always follows him on his adventures—Sun Cuore. Later on he would even come to instruct Sasha, daughter of Elder Summoner Lugina, who would become his disciple upon completing her training. While on orders from Elder Summoner Karl to investigate Grand Gaia, he meets a mysterious young warrior hailing from another world, and the two join forces to fight a new common enemy. |
